An Unforgettable Exchange of Positive Energy and Love
Today, we send a Special Thanks to Melissa Turner, John Magner, Tracy Peterson, and the nine students of Flint Hill School for being our partners in service this past week! Together, we built stoves in the community of Bella Vista and shared creative energy in Mayan Art workshops with the students of the El Manantial school in the community of San Juan Ostuncalco. We had an amazing time playing a bilingual Maya ball game in the Mam Maya Intercultural bilingual school of San Juan EMBI Ostuncalco, where the excited spirit of competition was awakened as each team worked to score at least one Goal, or in the Maya Kiche language – lakan!
We shared our clothing, our culture, and exchanged positive energies of love and hope to work together for a better world!
